Former Utah Jazz player Mike Brown on "Counting Cars"
Such a great player, nice humble man John Stockton is. Best point guard.
The true leader of our Jazz was John. We cant deny that.
Most realest dude I’ve ever seen
this is a fantastic story
Stocthom y malone
Such a shame karl wasn’t made a main guy w the crew
I haven't forgotten about this team. Mail Man. Ostertag, Stockton, Hornacek, Russell. Etc. I am a Bulls fan and did NOT wanna face them in the finals. Tough, talented and determined and better than 96. Mad respect. I was 15. NEVER forget that series. Never
As a Sacramento fan I will never forget the heart break of 1999 when Stockton hit the GW shot in game 4 which sent that series to a then decisive Game 5 in 1st Round. Which that was eventually won by the Jazz. Stockton was definitely a class act and conducted himself in such manner on and off the court. Just wish he would've won a ring. I was glad that night the Kings fan paid respect to him. though he didn't quite announce his retirement until sometime later, but almost like he knew this was it on that night back in 2003. Jazz fans in general are great fans, and would love to catch a game in SLC to see great fans over there. Also R.I.P. Jerry Sloan
You think bryon russell would of put a suit on for this occasion.
He missed 22 games in 19 seasons. That should be some kind of record along with assists and steals.
Whatever Charles is making he needs his salary doubled he is literally the back bone of that show if he wasn't on it holy boring
16:39
Gave me the chills watching this. Thanks for posting it. Hod Rod forever lives on in my mind.
Omg, I couldn’t recognize Bryon Russel he got fat.
"The Only Black Man in Utah." 😂
Karl Malone 2013 He was 20 The girl was 13
Flash forward 20 years and nobody has even come close to breaking either one of his all-time records. They will remain forever unbreakable.
The greatest story from Barcelona I've never forgotten this story he's top 5 in that era I rem he catching the ball going out of bounds in the games and making one nice pass can't rem who it was to
How was he only 5-time all defense? He's the NBA's all-time leader in steals.
Get him Dennis!
you can really tell that Karl really loves Chucks, he just went out of this character
Miss these guys!❤
Shout out Karl Malone
Sentence structure Karl, Sentence structure!
Obrigado John e Karl, sou Jazz por conta de vocês.
It was an honor to live in SLC, Utah and watch these legends play. I watched as they broke Franchise records, Conference records and NBA records, from home and occasionally live from The Salt Palace, and eventually The Delta Center. My first live game in The Salt Palace at the age of 11, surrounded by dedicated, diehard Jazz fans and feel that energy, was absolutely transformative. I was hooked instantly and watched or listened to every game I could afterwards. This team was a huge part of my childhood, and they will forever be my team 🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
karl is saying something here, no idea what it is.
Im 100% a Hawks fan, but John Stockton has and always be one of my favorite players in NBA history!
As a Bulls fan, this kind of makes me sad. These guys were a great team, but they couldn't celebrate a championship. They had to celebrate a Western Conference Final.
I cried like a baby that they never won a title together
MJ had Russell shook forever, that man can't even dress appropriately anymore
I'm wondering whether Karl and Charles were even thinking they'd become the 2 best power forwards of their generation back when they were roommates
Man Karl Malone may be a pos, but I can’t deny bro is funny af 😂😂😂
When did this happen? Did they open up the Delta Center just for this, without a game or a jersey retirement banner?
And now Danny Ainge runs the Jazz. It's all come full circle.
what's name about background music?
Wow how times have changed
*Greatest Point Guard ever????* *I think folks have forgot about guys named Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Isiah Thomas, Tony Parker, Allen Iverson, and Jason Kidd!!!!*
Do they hold the nba all time steals and assists records? 😂
Rockets fan. Absolutely lovely that Malone and Stockton never won a ring. Makes this even sweeter.
Shaddup
I still can't get over game six being fixed. Added 2 points after Ron Harper hits a shot after the clock and took away Howard isles 3 saying the clock expired when it didn't. Jazz would have had a 6 point lead with 25 seconds left instead ball stolen push off. Game 7 would have been epic.
larry is the best forward ever
This was really cool footage. I consume any content on the Dream Team the RUclips algorithm sends my way.
David Robinson is THE MOST overlooked Superstar of ALL TIME! I don’t even like David Robinson BUT DAM COULD HE PLAY. I only got the opportunity to see him play in person twice but he was simply unstoppable. I know that he is rarely mentioned in the “GOAT” conversations but let me tell you, you can’t mention a GOAT that David Robinson couldn’t score 50 on (IN ANY ERA).
I just realized I been here before
Favors 😈
UTAH JAZZ-2017
People forget he also has the record for most steals. Imagine being able to brag that you have the most assists and steals in NBA history. And it's not even close in either category.
Sadly, this is about the time the NBA began to change and became absolutely unwatchable. The NBA now is just a shadow of it's past.
Yep
This is the definition of pride and loyalty. Stockton and Malone, along with coach Sloan kept this team a legit title contender for the entirety of the 1990’s. Although Utah may have been a small market and not the most desirable city to play in, you would think that other NBA players would want to come play with these guys in Utah, because they knew they would have a chance to win.
Im playing bro on 2k rn
